Energy consumption investigation and analysis of multi-connected split air conditioning system in an office building

Based on the investigating results of annual power consumption in this building and the local climatic parameters in the same year, obtains the annual energy consumption data of the multi-connected split air conditioning system in this building. Analyses the main cause for low energy consumption of the air conditioning system—the integrated part load value (IPLV) of the unit is higher and automatic control effect is better. Taking the building as an example, calculates the energy consumption of the multi-connected split air conditioning system and the central air conditioning system. The result shows that the energy consumption of the former is close to the measured value and slightly lower than that of the latter. Suggests that combining theory calculation with verification by measured data of similar buildings should be adopted in evaluating the energy consumption of air conditioning systems.
